The brake light on the spoiler comes right off the brake pedal switch. The other two brake lights go through the turn signal/hazard/headlight switch assembly. This switch assembly is most likely the problem.
To check to see if the multifunction switch is bad, have someone watch the brakelights and wiggle the hazard switch front to back (opposite of on/off). They should come on if the switch is bad. You can also pull on the turnsignal lever towards you to check it (but not all the way the highbeams).
okay guys, i searched and found this.
can someone please clarify which switch it is and how to fix it.
thank you.

the multifunction switch is the switch that works your turnsignals, headlights and has cruise control controls on it if equipped
