Hey, I'm going to replace the hvac control unit. I have a 1998 sunfire and I was wondering if all years the same.. found lots on ebay but dont know if 2002 or other years will work. I couldnt find any part number or anything
They all function the same. The 3rd gen N-Body is also the same unit.
1995-2002 are the same cavy or fire. They have vacuum controled mode doors.
2003-2005 are cable driven mode control.
Any hvac control head from 1995-2002 will be fine. Just make sure that if you have a/c and/or rear defrost that the new/used one has the same.
