hey all ive got a 2001 cav and the brake lights will come on at random times when the car is shut off by them selves also my brake lights will stay on while i am driving and my passenger side rear turn signal doesnt work either and the 3rd brake light will flash while driving any help would be much appreciated with this problem any ideas thanks nick

I believe youre brake light switch needs replacing.

Agreed.
Also check the wires.

...They just HATE it when you ...POINT - LAUGH - then DRIVE OFF AND AWAY-!...

Thanks guys it turned out to be my brake switch and my left tail light socket
