stupid TPS
Tuesday, September 19, 2006 11:28 PM
i got a code a couple weeks ago sayin low tps voltage, so i replaced my TPS sensor, cleared the code and it came back like 15 mins later
i just scanned it and i got 2 codes, but they were both p0122 throttle pedal sensor (TPS) low voltage. anyone have any ideas what else it may be before i spend the money to take it somewhere just to have them replace a sensor or something stupid and charge me ;like $150

If its not the actual TPS, then its the wiring connecting the two. It could be grounding out on something. The wire being exposed, exposed wire toucing the wire, the connectors inside the plug-in (one partly broke), chared connector, etc. Sorry to say but you might have to go wire/hook-up hunting.
Hope it helps...
Good luck
