Weird Power Window Cut

Reading some of the archives, I didn't really see anyone with a similar problem. Of course, in the end, we all had the same problem. They just stopped working.

But what happened with my 4 door (driver side rear) is a bit different.

Worked fine on the way to my father in-laws funeral. Rolled down no problems, rolled up no problems the night before, just like new. Well, We go to leave the funeral home and being as I had alot of her dads old racing gear in my car (as well as photos and what not) I went to roll the windows up, and turn on the A/C. Well, After I looked back, I noticed, the window never rolled up.

I can't even force it up (with my hands, pulling it). So is my motor just seized and compluey? Or did I possibly loose a connection in the window?

I pulled off the door pannel at her house. The switch is good (used the passenger side one to test it), and the motor is getting power. (you can hear a soleniod or something click when you hit up, or down). But the window/motor just sits down, open for anyone to come take what they want.

Am I looking at a new Power Window Motor? And if so, wish me luck on the install because I AM BROKE, and not going to make my guy at the shop do it. lol.

a new wimdow lift motor... Yep!
You have one of the following porblems
1) the spline gear in the motor is broke. (the spline gear is metal but the piece that attaches them are plastic)
2) Yes, the motor could of seized.
3) the support arms (inside the door) maybe stuck.

Hope it helps.
