Im driving yesterday go to make a turn and the wheel feels like it locked up. previous to that i braked pretty hard because some jack ass decided to run across the street right in front of my car. I went to go and i smellled a sort of burning smell ( most likely the brakes) then after that my steering was very bad. I pulled into the school lot popped the hood and my power steering canister was empty. I checked it sunday night now i dont remmeber if i maybe didnt tighten it all the way but my question is. if it were a leak of some sort would ps fluid be able to get on the right side of my engine bay or near the black guard under the hood or do u think i just left the cap off and that stop jerked it all out. I mean it was everywhere my hood prop, my intake, even near my motor mount. do u think a leak could do that or the top was loose?

maybe a small hole in a hose squirting it everywhere

nah i figured it out. the hose blew off some how
