Coolant issue... Pics included! Please help!

So here's the deal...

Had my car in for AC repair (had the condenser replaced)
I'm about a month later and I started overheating...

So I quickly pulled over and noticed there was no coolant!

I filled up my resevour and noticed when I got home I had a pool of coolant on the garage floor (not a big one)

I managed to get under the car tonight and get a picture of where the coolant is leaking from.
It only comes out badly when the heat is on, so I'm thinking this might be a outlet to a pan under the heater core???
Is this correct? If not, what is it? Any way to repair a heater coor if that is the issue? It's coming out as more than just drips when I turn the heat on...

Here's some pics, any help is really appreciated!
First pic of where it's coming out....

Here's the second pic to get an idea where it is in relation to the heater core tubing...

Thanks for the help!

Yeah its the heater core for sure, thats the drain for the box of the heater core and a/c condesor, i wouldnt try to repair the problem, spend the extra few bucks and buy a new heater core. Also you should smell a sweet antifreeze smell from your vents if its the heater core, and sometimes with the heat on you will get puffs of steam or see steam rolling out of the vents when your sitting still and its at operating temperature.

Crap.
Well, I thought that's what it was, and at least it's easy enough to diagnose... I didn't see any other problems from getting really hot that one time (oil looks good and coolant free).

Now I'll just have to figure out how exactly to get to the heater core-
The Hanes Manual, although it has instructions, they are pretty brief.
It says take out the glove compartment and below that...I haven't looked to see yet, but will I have to remove the dash to get to it?

Thanks again... I'm pondering just joining the tubes and just worrying about it later when it gets cold...

Yep, from the hearsay that I've encountered, the heater core and/or A/C core are THE two major PITA repairs on our cars. Buried nice and deep, give yourself a good weekend to 'dig them out'.

So, let me just update you...

My garage looks like the NTSB after a plane crash.

Seriously, this has been one of the most pain in the ars things I've had to do on my car...
I literally spent over 2 hours trying to get one screw out that was pinned up against the firewall under the dash.
Anyways, I got the pan below the core off last night before I gave up for the night....

I'm going to try to actually remove it and replace it tonight- wish me luck.
Tell you one thing, the service manual sure makes it look easier. Doesn't SHOW that you have to take out the complete and entire dash, airbags, steering wheel, controls, and center console before you can even get to the screws that are almost impossible to get to.

Oh well, still worth the $500+ I saved if I get it all back together okay. I took a lot of pictures along the way so I hopefully won't forget anything.
