I was out yesterday and went to pass some guy on the highway. I hit 140km in fourth and my CEL came on. When I got home a few minutes later I checked the code and it was #1137 which indicates the O2 censor reading lean. While the car was running in the driveway and the code reader was clearing the CEL the engine just died. It started right up again and I drove it today with out any problems but I am a little concerned. Any idea's or advice? (2000 2.2)
Might be a hiccup in an injector, maybe a loose or old connection on the O2 sensor. I'd change the air and fuel filter if it hasn't been done in a while and clean the injectors and TB. Other than that, if it doesn't come back, don't sweat it. My '05 comes up with intermittent phantom codes from time to time. I think it just gives the car character...
Fuel Filter.
