I put an engine out of a 97 cavy in my 95 cavy and it has a few more sensors than my wiring harness has plugs for? Should i use the old crank position sensor and knock sensor out of the 95 engine or what. I cant get the engine to fire at all. The newer engine has a cam sensor but my harness doesnt have a plug for it. Im not sure exactly what i should do but i havent been able to get the engine to fire at all since it was replaced. Im not sure if the computer itself is bad either. Someone with past experience please help me, i want to get this car running so bad.

how does the old engine have a crank position sensor but it doesnt have a plug? lol

i didnt say that, i said the new engine has a cam position sensor and no plug in the harness for it because in 95 it wasnt required for that engine, OBD I,
So i put all the sensors from the old engine back into the new engine so it would all match up with the wiring harness and it still wont fire, i smell fuel but its not firing, What are my most reasonable problems and how should i check out this situation?
