well. for about a month now. i have a reall odd and really bad hesitation issue. when i start my car it idles really rough and if i press the gas it does nothing but either stall the engine or it will run rough.. i replaced my fuel pump and filter thinking it was that. but it wasnt. is there anything i might be missing. sometimes the car just wont even start. but then i let it sit a few minutes and it starts right up. im really clueless wat what this could be. any help is GREATLY apreciated
How are the spark plugs, plug wires and ignition coils?
Has the ignition SWITCH been checked?
I would check things in that order, cheapest first.

i have noticed my key being VERY hott when i pull it out sometimes. but i wouldnt think that the ignition switch would be the problem. cause the car cranks. it just wont start sometimes. and then when it does sometimes it will just run rough
I'm having a similar issue.
I have the same problem when I start my car. It will idle rough for about 30 seconds and then everything smooths out and the car will run fine. I have checked my entire ignition system, fuel system, relays, vacuum lines and checked for leaks, changed about 95% of the sensors and it still idles the same. This sucks!

but, The switch should not get hot, you have a high resistance there which needs investigating.

You have a bad connection somewhere in the ignition /switch circuit which may well cause the rough running/no starting

i'm having the same problems, and i think i've traced it back to the ignition modual, i havnt bought one yet, cause i wanted to make sure before i drop 200 bucks on a new one.
Mine is still doing this, but I noticed that my oil pressure gauge needle goes off the chart while it's doing it and then it goes back to normal. Any ideas??
I got my igintion switched replaced from GM recall for free. I never had my key been hot or warm. That could popose a problem, Well Wojo how long has it been since youre car has had a tune up. Could have a plugged or wornout injector O rings. Or fuel pressure regulator.
lol. wow. old post. i found out what the problem is and im still trying to fix it. theres a loose wire at my bcm or close to it that causes something not to run right. since i wrote this post ive had to replace the motor and trans in my car. so i know its not the injectors OR FPR. thanks for the help man. but i talked to seth (wizkiddrummer) and he said his key does the same thing and its an 04 so. im not worried about that anymore
