coil pack problem

how do i know if my coil pack is going out? I had a missfire in cylinder one the last night, and i don't know what else it could be.

The only way you Can check to see if youre coil packs are bad< You will need a Multi Meter Tester, Their are two Pares of the coils you need to test the ohm's Reading for the correct current, On the primary part should read 0.40 to 0.80 ohms & Secondary 5,000 to 7,000. You may even want to test youre car charging system as well. To make sure youre getting 13 to 14.5volts while youre car is idling.

With these tips here should tell you if youre coil packs are no good.
