I have a 96 Sunfire and I am changing the front wheel bearing/hub assembly. All three torx bolts have been removed and this thing still won't budge. What is the best way to get the wheel bearing/hub assembly off? I tried getting it off with a crowbar and I tried hammering it.
pretty sure I used the puller
You have to take the center nut off the axle. I think it's a 30mm deepwell.
God bless America.
BTW it's best to loosen it off with the car on the ground, wheel on and someone standing on the brakes. I did one on a rusty 1984 model and the nut was hard to loosen and fought me the whole way off.
God bless America.
I bought this set and love it. The spreader allows you to put even pressure.

Maybe the newer cars have changed (I don't think so) but on my old '84 I didn't need a puller of any kind. Just remove the big axle nut, take off the hub bolts and the bearing/hub assembly came right off.
God bless America.
A slide hammer will work, Or even that get a small piece 2x4 wood, Place it against the hub assembly, hit it with a hammer it should pop out with no damage.
I beat the @!#$ out of it. Basically you beat the side of it so it spins in the hole. Spin it enough and the holes will be exposed and you can get a screwdriver / crowbar in there and pry it out. I did 2 of them yesterday in about an hour.
