When I get in my car (1998 chevy cavalier) and start it up I get a ratteling noise when I go in reverse and start to drive forward. It only happens when I have my AC on and only last a minute or so...
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Check the heat shield on your cat, they'll rattle sometimes. Give it a whack with your hand when the car is cold (and not running).

Im gonna put a high flow cat on real soon... so I will see if that could be the cause.
I have a sneaking suspension that it could be my belt tensioner as well...
When you mention a rattling sound and A/C, that makes me think the clutch on the A/C compressor, but that normally makes noise when the A/C is off, not when it's on.
