For a few days now my service engine light, abs light, and no trac light have been coming on every now and then. I would turn the car off and back on and they would go away for a bit. Now the other day it died on me just moving the car around in the drive way. The car stutters before it goes and sometimes it seems that the front passenger side tire doesn't grip right away and the no trac light comes on for a sec. I'm hopefully getting my computer checked tomorrow, but I dunno. Any ideas why it's doing this all of a sudden? It's been lowered for almost 3 months now and me and my cousin did the install, dunno if that would cause a problem? Thanks for the help. ps..I own a 02 sunfire gt with the ecotec engine..
does the car shift funny, sound like a bad vechile speed sensor. Does the speedometer work?
The speedometer seems to work just fine and it seems to shift a lil harder than usual..so I dunno...
Check the sensor that goes into your intake. The symptoms you are describing are almost exactly how my '99 Z was acting after I installed an aftermarket intake and forgot to plug the sensor into it.

had the exact same problem. shuttered and then all the lights came on. turn it off for a few minutes and then it'd be fine for an hour or a day or a few days. then it'd do it all the sudden. mine was also shifting funny. if its the same problem as mine, nothing will come up on the diagnostics machine. i talked to a friend of a family that specializes in tranny work, he said to replace the throttle position sensor. i did, it worked, all is good now. i'd start there.
when i had the problem, i replaced the IAT sensor in the intake first cuz it was the cheapest, it didn't help...
GO PATS!!!
I'll look into those things...the place I took it too said it was my right speed sensor in the hub? and said that I would need a brand new hub cause you can't just buy the sensor on the 02 models? This sound famalier to anyone?
He's BSing you. ABS light don't make the engine go nuts.
IAT seems like it could be the problem
TPS is possible but I don't understand the ABS light for that sensor
Alt not charging , not at all.
First thing first, check your batery connection. Then have any code checked (if you have any). Check the IAT sensor. Check the Tps. The tps cost some money so wait for that one.

its the speed sensor, and the speed sensor can be replaced....dont need a new hub...go to another garage.

yeah j-bodys don't even have the tone ring in the hub its on the axle, but a wheel speed sensor is not going to cause a stall or stutter, I missed that you said it died before.
You have multiple problems from the sound of things.
IAT is not likely, It only mildly controls fuel during colds starts and open loop, TPS is possibly it could be dropping to ground. IT could also be an erratic signal from the crank sensor, but to test all these your going to need a lab scope.
I would ask around and find a reputable shop in your area and have them diagnose it, then do the repairs your self if you wish.
it is possible to cause a stutter, when mine was going out the car would stumble and the rpms would drop. If i was standing still there is a possiblility when the rpms drop it could stall. Go get a second opinion and see what they say.
Thanks for the advice..hopefully I can figure it out and get it fixed =\
