Help, can't find noise
Thursday, August 03, 2006 8:33 AM
hey guys... i still can't find this problem.. The problem is when i'm driving there is a roar noise and you can feel it on your feet on both sides on the front.. The roar noise is louder when you turn to the right. It sure sounds like a wheel bearing but it's not.. I replaced two just last month and checked them and there fine.. I replaced the lower motor mount (torque strut) and also replaced the 2 cv joints.. The noise doesn't get no louder over bumps.. And you can barly hear it when you turn to the left.. I seen a motor mount on the left side on the bottom about half ways up.. looks to be square.. i was wonderin could this possibly be it??? It would the strut mounts make this kinda noise??? But i think you would hear it louder over bumps if that was it.. anyways i been trying to find this all day and no luck.. hope somebody can help me out. thanks alot

I called up a dealer... and tryed to explain to them the best that i could and he told me it was a wheel bearing.. he said he had seen them go as quick as 2 weeks. he asked me the faster i go the louder it gets and it does.. so i dunno what to do try that or not..
