yup. im a retard. i hate the fact that ive been so spoiled by living in nj and not having to pump my own gas EVER (becasue theres a law that says only like a freakin licensed official can pump gas in nj) that when i go to pump my own gas, by myself in mass. on my way back home, I FORGET TO PUT MY FREAKIN GAS CAP BACK ON... which brings me to my question... where can a retard like myself find a new gas cap? dealer? or like an autozone? or what?
thanks.
i cant believe how stupid i am sometimes. . .
Any aftermarket parts store such as AutoZone or Advance should carry a replacement. My cap has a little attachment cord that prevents me from losing the cap......
yea, eventually those wear and break, which is apparently what happened to my car before i even got it... i wish i had one of those things, then i wouldnt have this problem... thanks for the info tho. its kinda what i figured, but its always good to ask.
buy a new one and make your own lanyard for it
Did it scratch your paint from dangling or was the chord already broke?
Didn't 95's and some 96's have the little hanger on the fuel door instead of the cord?
yeah mine is a 95 and there is like a shelf that you can put it on its pretty cool .
You can get a locking one while you're at it (autozone)... it's always a good idea or at least a thought since your gas door doesn't lock...
You can see where the stock gas cap used to attach to the door. ACTUALLY, if you want my old gas cap paypal me shipping cost and its yours.

I bought a locking cap from Autozone. Some weird brand. Went to Advanced Auto, bought a Stant, and returned that other one.
I know Stant ones are good. I did not need issues from using a subpar gascap.
thanks guys, for the options here.lol. i went to autozone today and picked one up for a decent price, so proplem solved i guess. thanks for the offer tho david norris. i appreciate it

, but it was just easier to get it quick than to wait for shipping.
its just a regulat cap. nothin special, but i might try to rig some kinda lanyard thing to it so its secure. thanks for the help tho guys

Mine still has the original plastic thingy attached. What am I going to do with a cav gas cap when I don't have a cav!? ...... ebay?
