I pop the hood and i can just barly hear a little tick noise when the key is turned.. What could cause this?? Thanks
I also checked the battery Connections

Start with checking your wiring.
Tighten and clean all battery connections.
Follow the + & - battery cables from the battery to primary connections. Tighten and clean as applicable.
The next time it happens, jiggle the key in the ignition a couple times and see if it starts right up afterwards.
If it works after jiggling the key, repeat that test a couple more times to see if it corrects the issue right away each time.
If so, suspect the ignition cylinder itself, or try to get at the wiring harness connection to clean and verify good contact.
Of course, it may just be the starter, specifically the solenoid.
If you're mechanically inclined, remove the starter and take it to any major parts store for free testing.
Otherwise, a shop will test it for you for a nominal fee.
Good Luck.
