idk weather 2 go with the 1999 z24 cavalier or a 1999 2.2 cavalier i know the performance isusses but what about metnance and quality im still a student son im in need of some help 2 choose i dont want the 2.4 2 @!#$ uip on me when i get it it has 120 km on the engine so its really low plz reply 2 me in a pm plz asap thx u

well the Z24 has 150 Hp and 155 Tourqe. the 2.2 (non ecotec) has about 115 hp and 130 Tourqe. my numbers maybe off but you get the idea.
i have over 111,000 miles on my Z24 now. and ive been spraying nitrous into that engine since last year. varying shots of 35, 50, and 75. so far so good.
but with any engine, if its not (was not) maintained then you will have problems
