Well The issue im having is that my alarm senses a change in voltage to set off and well when I get out my car the dome light stays on for a period of time so when it shuts off the alarm flips out . Is there any way to make the light shut off as soon as yah shut your door ? like most cars ?
Not that I'm aware of...
And most cars the dome light typically stays on for a period of time after you shut the door, unless you just keep the dome light off all the time...
the thing is the alarnm also senses the change in voltage so that if the door is open the dome light will come on setting the alarm off , I dunno why it couldnt be just on off like the older days lol ,
Can't u use another trigger point for the alarm? Can u use the door switch as the trigger? So that when the switch opens or closes it'll change the volts? I'm not sure it'll work but maybe see if it will?

Try turning the alarm on after the dome light goes out.
