strong smell of gas?

hey guys some times when i start my car i get a strong smell of gas i have no leaks as far as i know never seen any puddles or anything like that any idea what it could be?

I would also check the injectors. I just replace one of mines.

I have the same problem. I have a new gas cap, New fuel filter, new regulator. Tommorow im replacing the Injector O rings.

Check to see if the fuel pressure regulator is leaking....

Sending unit on the top of the tank may be leaking, are you getting any out of the blue check engine lights?

nope dont have any CEL's going on and its not allways that i smell it when i start up its the odd time like once or twice a week

sorry dude.....if you can see the fuel rail in the back there sould be a fuel pressure regulator with a vacuum line connected to it...pull that line off and see if any fuel is coming out.....as for the fuel tank sending unit...you have to drop the tank to check that....just try to inspect all lines and hoses from the tank to the rail....hope that helps..
