2nd gen not starting

i got a 94 cavalier that i havent started in a year or so.. I replaced the battery, now it is cranking but not starting.. any clue what might be wrong?

You should run a diagnostic for codes and see if code 19 pops up which is either the wiring for the crank shaft position sensor is shorted or the sensor it self is bad.Also while the car may turn over ur coil or coil pack may not be firing and u may want to consider replacing ur fuel filter and may sure ur injectors are getting fuel which are some basic things to consider.Also to go in depth checking ur fuel psi or fuel pump pressure to make sure it has not bit the dust.Since u do not have ur eng specs the normal fuel pressure is 41-47psi for multiport fuel inj.or if u use a multimeter to check the injectors11.8-12.6 ohms.Now if u have a tbi it would be 9-13 psi and 1.2 -12.6 ohms with a multimeter.I would go with a code check and coil check and pull the plug wire to ensure the coil is firing while someone turns it over for ark if u do not have a multimeter.Thats a start.
