I cant remember the size of the wrench I used, All you got to do is use a long sized wrench on the belt tensioner, The belt should pop off with no troubles.

DOesn't really help ... I'm trying to swap out my dead alt and I have the 3 bolts unhooked but I can't get a wrench down to the tensioner pulley... And going from the bottom looks like it could be a major PITA.

Your best bet would be to use a belt tensioner. If you dont have a belt tensioner you would need to use a 15 mm wrench.

On a 200 engine you can use a 3/8 wratchet wrench and extend it with a normal wrench.

I just used an extension. I think I was able to get a 6 inch in there.

I'm not sure on the 2200, but on the 2.4L, I use a 15mm box wrench on the tensioner from either the top or bottom. Bottom is easier, but you have to take the tire off and the wheel well liner. Top, you just have a tighter space to work in.

I believe the 99+ 2.4L is 15mm on the tensioner.. and 96-98 is 13mm.
