Very Bad Shaking

Well, I was driving home from work tonight and my car began to shake very bad. I noticed it at lower speed, but it got very bad once I got up to like 60. I have never felt a car shake like this before. I pulled over and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. What could be causing this?

PS. I installed a B&M Shiftplus a few days ago, and I installed an AEM Short Ram intake 2 weeks ago. I doubt any of these are causing the problems, but figured I'd just let everyone know. Thank for the help.

Check you rims, maybe you threw a weight?

none of what you installed should have affected your wheels... its either a wheel weight missing, or a broken belt inside your tire. Any other abnormal noise like grinding or humming?

I had a tire grow a "bubble" on the inside once, and it did the same thing you're describing. It was about the size of an orange on the sidewall.

Other than that, I don't think a missing wheel weight would be noticable at slow speed. Maybe a busted wheel bearing. If you can't see anything wrong with the tires, jack each wheel up and try to wiggle the tire.

Good luck, Tom.

depending on the size of wheel weight it could be noticeable. but i'd say its either a bent wheel (if by chance u hit sumthin) or a bad tire. rotate ur tires and see if it moves with them
