Hey guys, I just replaced my spark plugs with new irridium plugs, cleaned my intake, and ran a few bottles of gas cleaner through and still my car is not right. When at idle it revs from 1.5rmps then down to almost stalling then back up again constantly cycling through. Also, when quickly changing from decelleration to accelleration my car hesitates before kickin in. ANY IDEAS?
Maybe not the best, but at least it's American.
If your idle goes up and down, you have a vacuum leak. This also causes hesitation on acceleration.

Another thing if you have the 2.4 irridium plugs suck real bad, stay with AC Delco Platinums. Oh another thing if you have the 2.4 if your spark plug boots are cracked or old change them. I had the same problem in my cavy and I changed those and she runs great now.

My car has two speeds, fast and faster.
Hey
two thoughts:
If it almost stalls when letting off the gas I'd lean toward the IAC. (Although doesn't really explain acceleration problem)
The acceleration problem I would assume is a spark problem
so I would look into the boots and the coil module housing (could be arching)
Thanks for everyone's input. I will go back to GM platinum plugs and recheck the spark boots. In addition, I will aslo take apart the throttle body and clean it out. Thanks again!
