first gauge cluster then hvac panel now odometer

First when I got the car part of the gauge cluster would go out when driving at night. Then about 2 months ago my hvac panel would go out but if you hit it it would come back on. Now it's out completely. Driving last night pull in to get gas shut the car off pump it. Get in start it up Odometer wont light up. Hit the dash and it still didnt come on. Mind you the gauges work and are lit. Well part of it. Whats up with this thing? Is it a problem with 00 and up clusters?

i dont have that prob but on my 00 sunfire my stock radio does not light up at ALL so i dont even know when its on or not nothing lights up

I'm thinkin about doing the sunfire gauge swap on my car anyway. What is intailed with doing so and also the hvac panel?
