the cooling fan in my 98 rally sport doesnt work unless you have the a/c on

Its normal. Its only supposed to come on when the AC is on and when the cars temp reaches just before the overheating line.
what if it doesnt come on in eitherof those cases......??(like mine).......i have mine hardwired right now.......

then you prob killed the motor, or the relay.
