I Stripped the thermostat housing bolt in my 2000 sunfire 2.2...now what do I do? I tried a pliers but it seems to be very tight in there. My car was overheating so I figure it was either the thermostat or the water pump.....now that i look at the water pump i gotta take out the serpant belt to get to it but how the hell do i get the tensioner off when there is no room.

Take the passenger side tire off, take out the wheel well liner, get and extension and get a friend to help. He can turn the tensioner and you can slip the belt off. I did it by myself and its a pain in the a$$.
