Just found this site. Nice job on it.
Anyway, I just bought a 98 Z24 with a few problems. The biggest one right now is the knock sensor not being installed. I have the sensor and know where the wire is, but, for the life of me, can not find where the boss is to put it in.
Can anyone help me out with a pic of the location. I have searched and found that it is on the rear of the block, about 4 inches for the manifold, but still can not find it.
HELP, PLEASE!!!

its under the exhaust manifold somewhat near the base of the block, under the coolant line. here's a rough photo from Autozone's website
Where did you find that pic? I checked all over that site and could not find it. Keeps telling me that there are no matches!
Anyway, I take it that the arrow is pointing to the "front" of the engine, i.e. pointing to the belt, correct?
That would put it right about where the engine and tranny meet. Does that sound right? Is it easier to get to from under or above the car?
