Does anyone know anything about the ERLS fuse? My car (2002 2-door LS Sport w/ECOTEC) is in the shop for the second time in a week b/c the ERLS fuse keeps blowing. When it goes, the check engine light comes on (duh) and throws four codes (P0753, P0758, P1860, and P0135). Also (and here's the major problem), the "TRAC OFF" light comes on, and the transmission (automatic) won't shift past 1st in drive. Now, from what I've found, replacing the fuse cures the problem with the TRAC OFF light and the tranny itself not shifting, but of course, the check engine light is still on. Took it to the local Chevy dealer, they simply ran a diag the first time and said nothing was wrong with anything on that circuit. However, a week later, it's blown the same fuse, with all the same problems. So, it's at the dealer again, w/the bad fuse still in so they can see what it causes when it blows. Hopefully, I'll have it back tomorrow. Has anyone else had this problem in their car, or have any insight into what the problem is? BTW, the tech the first time tested for shorts and found none.
