2003 Cavalier won't start: Trac light on

I was driving my car yesterday, and all of a sudden the trac light came on, and it started putting really bad so i pulled into a parking lot and shut it off, and tried to start it back up and it would not start, cranks but no start,checked all fuses and relays any ideas? thanks

Sounds like it's not getting gas. When you turn the key to 'ON', do you hear the whine of the fuel pump?
