Strange thing happened to me today. The car started fine but after a short drive I hear
2 ticks (tick, tock) which came from the passenger side. After that
check engine light came on and
EST OFF and the fan came on. I was like what the F is going on. The car does not feel any diff but its abit slow on acceleration due to the fan.
I also have gas leak if i fill the tank to the full mark but other then that she is good.
Anyone has any idea why this is happening?

The fan alone won't make your car slow, probably the a/c compressor doing that. Get the gas leak fixed NOW! Forget pollution/emission reasons, that's a bomb waiting to happen. All the fumes need is a spark, and things'll find their way back to your tank like a fuse.
The click might be your A/C compressor going on/off and on it will slow down your accelleration. The fuel tank problem, get that fixed asap - you don't want to blow up!!
There should be a tank fairly cheap at the boneyard, fix that fast.

The fuel thank problem will get fixed and I got a quote for 400 at Crapy Tire...gonna keep searching..
The Ac coming on and off does not explain it. It only happens once at the start of the car and then it never happens again. But why would the clicks or bangs give me a check engine light and ets off...????
