Clutch pedal gave up (Getrag)
Wednesday, June 21, 2006 8:49 PM
So my clutch pedal lost all pressure and no gear would engage tonight. Got it towed to the dealer (after hours). I'll find out the problem tomorrow. Thought I would post so those with experience could relate and say "yea that happened to me, glad it's in the past!!"

I'd bet money it's a leak in a line. Most common problem in my experience. Course there isn't much else it could be.

Leak in the Hydraulic line. Mine rubbed itself against the transmission and made a huge leak. Kinda scary when it happened. Spent $150 bucks for a whole new master cylinder and the line. (It comes as a set, you cant just buy the line.) Pretty easy to to take out and reinstall. Let me know if you plan on doing it yourself, I did it all myself and saved about 200 bucks. Good Luck.

Had this happen to me, drove the car home with no clutch.... Then found out it was the Slave cylinder had gone bad after 20,000 miles... If its your slave dont pay them the 350 for a new slave/master cylinder combo (only way GM will sell it to you)

You can get a Spec clutch/slave cylinder combo for 400. I put the stage 3 on mine when this happened and im loving it.

Thanks for the input. I'm under warranty so I'm not spending a dime and not doing anything myself obviously!! It's at the dealership and I'm still waiting to hear what the problem is. I just got my AGX's and eibachs and they aren't doing any good with no car!!

Whoever guessed slave cylinder (leak) wins! That's what I just heard. So they have to replace it.
