98 cavalier z24...New thermostat, no leaks hoses replaced, replaced fuse for fan...the fan wont turn on. I hear its supposed to turn on when u turn the car battery on. I started her up and overheated it noticed a fuse was blown....got a new fuse put it in (the one under the hood for the fan) and overheated it again the fan did not kick in, and blew the new fuse....wiring problem....maybye the fan motor is shot?? What should i do???

1) the fan is supposed to come on @ 220 degrees.

2) also the fan should come on when you have the A/C on.

3) Have you checked the relay yet?

I'm going to suspect its the fan motor. Got a CEL for the fan circuit, went to check and the fuse popped. Replaced the motor and we're good as new.
