hey i have a question i drive a black 2001 Z and im not sure what its called but the paint in spots is chipping and turning white whats a good way to treat this if any i think its called deoxidized paint or something but i dunno

wax all you want, theres parts of are cars that are doomed to have paint die.

the tirm piece under the window, is plastic, with a metal sheet (alunium) thats on top of it, and then its painted.

Well that sheet of metal loves to oxidize and blister the paint on top. The dealers and body shop I talked to, said the best way to do it, is to replace it. For about 200 bucks.

Theres also clear coating pealing that happens alot around the windows on the doors. Needs to be repainted.
