So I noticed today pulling into the gas station, that my speedometer was stuck at around 30 km/h. After driving for a while more, I noticed that it had moved up to what I assume was the proper speed. When slowing down the speedo does go down, but moves quite slowly. Also, while increasing speed, it does seem to move up now, but again it moves up alot slower than I am accelerating.

Any thoughts?

Yes, there is a gauge overlay, but its been there for like 4 years or so....

Something may have happened. May have shifted a little or something. Maybe the hot weather loosened it or caused something to warp or something.

I'd get in there and make sure it's all secure. It really sounds like the needles are hitting some sort of resistance. A little rubbing will do that.
