Well, I put air ride on my car, and replaced my brake pads yesterday. When I go to drive the car home, its acting funny. When I put it into drive from neutral, it jerks. Also, when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it jerks. So I take it back to the garage where i put on my air ride, and open the hood so I can see what it is. Shift it from neutral to drive with my foot firmly on the brake, it jerks and the engine moves alot.

What I'm thinking, my engine mounts may be shot?

Hows youre motor mounts are they stock?. Was this engine movement caused after the install?.

Sounds like a crappy lower torque strut (dogboned) mount. Look up under the car and the lower mount when shifting in and out of neutral/drive.

k, got it fixed. We replaced both of the motor mounts. The top one was a BITCH but the bottom one wasnt too bad. Thanks for the help guys.
