how would i check and adjust my timing on my 2004 Z24 ecotec
a few things;
There are no "Z24" 2004 ecotecs.. that's just the dealer slapping a Z24 badge and probably a few other shinies and upping the price.
The ecotec motor has a timing chain, and being a 2004, it's kind of unlikely that the timing has jumped any. What exactly is it doing to make you feel you need to check/adjust it?

Yes there is such a thing as a 04 Z24(It's called Canada). It's a timming chain with a spring/oil pressure tensionner so you can't really adjust it.

i didnt think it needed to be adjusted just one of my buddies keep telling me my timing might be out but i didnt think it was thanks guys
