my front wheel bearings are going bad, i stopped to get them checked out, they wanted 400 to do the 2 front wheels, can someone get me some for cheap for an 03 cavalier???? i dont care if they are new or used as long as my car doesnt sound like it has mud tires on it

Do it yourself. Pay the $50 for each of the wheel bearings. Take off front wheels, calipers, rotors, and the 4 bolts holding the wheel bearing in place, and just swap.

i can get you the bearings off an 2003 if you would like $65 each plus like $15 for shipping, if you were close by i would have swapped them for like 50 bucks. Its not hard to do at all will take like an hour two hours tops to do it your self. PM me if you want the bearings.

GM wanted to rape me $350 EACH for rear bearing hubs!! Got a great deal @ Rock Auto for $140 each. When if my fronts go like yours, I'll go back to them for front hubs! You'll also need a T-50 torx socket. Make it a GOOD one and keep it straight inline with the bolt while turning, NOT at any angle. Might be better to hold bolt still and turn the nut behind with a box wrench if possible.

the local auto parts store wants like 150 each for the front, i can pick up some from a junk yard off a rear end collision car, but all the junkyard has is like 97s and 98s, will these fit on my 03? I camn do it myself i just dont wanna pay that much for parts, im mainly wanting to know if 96-02 front wheel bearings are the same as 03- 05?

Doing a parts search at RockAuto turns up same part numbers for front and rear hub assemblies '96 and up.
