Some Help with a CEL Code
Wednesday, June 07, 2006 3:28 PM
my CEL came on today and went to get it checked out. It came up P0141, i believe this is the Heater 02 sensor. The guy asked me if i had any exhaust done, but it's all stock. Any reason why this would happen on a stock exhaust?? Its still under warranty so i'm not upset at it at all, just wondering why this would happen? thanks guys. Oh yeah ti's a 2004 cavalier

The heating circuit for the O2 sensor could have went bad.

You can't outrun the radio.

DTC P0141 HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 2

Yup... second O2 sensor, heater not "up to snuff". Check the fuse first, then diagnose further... could be bad. Get under the car and take a look, maybe you snagged a wire on something... ?

yeah that's what it was. Car was under warranty so they just replaced the sensor. Good to go now
