hey guys, i own a 2000 pontiac sunfire se. 2.2l. I have 289,897 km's or miles what ever it is on the car. I was wonderin if this is alot? The car is in wickkit shape, and starting to look sharp. Works awesome.. Change the oil every 4500 km's.
That does seem like alot. Alot of the kms must be highway.
My 2003 was bought in 2004 as a "last year's model", and it now has about 66,400 kms on it. So at that rate, if it was the same age as your car, it should have about 200,000 kms on it.
I think what matters more than mileage is how it's treated. One of the courtesy cars at my work has 120,000 kms on it and it's pretty much toast. My old Ranger had 327,000 kms and it probably would have made it to 400,000.
Also, I would hope that's kms, 'cause if it's miles, that's about 465,000 kms.
Wow and I thought mine was high...lol I have been to TN to Michigan so many times. I have a 2.2 1995 Cavalier with 183,000
