Changing fuel filter question

1998 Cavalier base engine. I just bought a new fuel filter and noticed that one end has a screw in fitting and the other has a quick disconnect fitting. Never worked with this type of filter before. I need tips on the installation. Also does fuel pressure in the system need to be bled off before loosening a line? If so how is this done??

one extra note.. you should releive the fuel pressure, and the best way to do that is to pull the fuel pump relay and crank the car. It'll sputter out after a second or two and you wont have to worry about any pressure in the lines.
