Has anyone had a problem with scratches on their windows caused by the power window belt drive? Is there a fix for this. My Cavalier was in an accident and they replaced the door but not the drive belt or window. I now have scratches caused by the window drive belt (vertical). The collision repair shop says they contacted GM who told them this is a known problem and that replacing the glass and/or belt will not fix the issue - it will happen again. This window was not scratched prior to the accident. Any thoughts?
