well as titles states the right headlight just stays very dimm just like the highbeam. when i turn the lights on nothing happens on the right side also highbeam will not work on right side i changed the low beam bulb still same thing could it be the highbeam bulb that is causing the problem?

Check the prongs on the bulb itself. One could be bent and the coupler on the wire harness is not making contact. Usually it is the ground one is bent or broken
