Hey guys, since i finally have some nice weather , i was going to spend the day doing some much needed engine cleaning. In and out. I was wondering if nayone has used the gunk out crankcase cleaner? how does it work? also if i use seafoam, will i need to use the gunk out, or will the seafoam produce the same results? and i hsould do all of this and THEN change my oil correct? Thanks!
sea-foam cleans all of the portions of the motor that air and fuel go through, with the crankcase cleaner, if it is a 1 gallon bottle, drain your oil, swap with a new filter, add cleaner, start, run for 5 mintues, drain, install new filter, if the oil cleaner is a 1 quart cleaner, just go buy enough oil to do you oil change, plus 3 quarts to run with the cleaner, now drain the oil, install new filter, add oil plus 1 quart of cleaner, run for a day or two, then drian it out, swap with a new filter
