hey guys not sure if this should go in go go go transmission forum or maintenance but here it is again sorry for the double post but i need help quick


hey guys i drive a 2001 z24, for a while i have had problems with 3rd gear grinding not every time i shift but about 85%of the time well last night it popped out of third twice never happened before but still not every time i shifted into 3rd well today i was driving and put it into third it popped and made this loud click and grind noise and wouldnt go into any gear i finally got it into gear and drove it home but its making a clicking noise when i drive soooo what do i do guys?? do i need a new tranny? I can still drive but im sure its just about to go out also wheres a good spot to get a tranny if i need to and does anybody know what other years and models i can pull a transmission out of to put in my 01 Z??? thanks guys

dude those tranny are few and far between now sadly and are hard to get ahold of good ones, I know its alot but if you cant find one i have one fo r$850. and it just might be your throwout bearing or clutch as well. get it checked out. most tranny shops diagnose for free.
