I have a 95 cav. with a 2.2 replaced the cooling temp. sensor has a new thermostat checked my relay also used a jumper wire to make sure the fan works when I let the car run with the a/c on the temp gauge goes to about half way but the fan never kicks on need to figure out what to look at next??

half way is the normal temperature. (195F degrees)

The fan is not going to kick on until the temperature is over half way
(230F or 240F degrees)

is your car overheating?

When the A/C is turned on the fan should come on. This is the standard for car with an electric coolinf fan.

Maybe the cooling fan relay is bad.

If you have a manual check the wiring.

If you go through the wiring and the relay and still can't figure it out (and it doesn't turn on when the car's at the above listed temp.) hard-wiring is always an option. You can wire it to your ignition so it's on when the car's on, or you could put a switch inline so you have control.

~Just an option for you~
