Engine Messed up

Well okay, the story starts i put nitrous on my car on a 2005 big mistake as i learned. I put a 50 wet shot in ran it a couple of times and now it ticks like crazy, I know I know my mistake.

I have decided to yank the nitrous out of the car, and well since the car only has 16,000 miles it is still under "warranty" lol. Question is if I take all the nitrous off everything, all the under hood mods even the CAI, Mounts and all is there any chance at all I could get warranty work done. I know I will have to change my oil a couple of times to run the traces of nitrous out of the motor. I know this seems immoral, but the situtation I have is not good as can be saw. Luckily I do have a daily driver but yet its still not really that reliable. The place where I bought the car seems to do loose waranty work in other words they'll repair alot of stuff under warranty that shouldn't be done. Think I have a chance to get this done under warranty?

I would remove your location from your registry being as you brought it up here...

Some homo will email this to all the dealers in your area.

a 50 wet shot shouldn't do anything to your car unless it was installed incorrectly, used incorrectly, or something was faulty in the kit. Most likely, whatever the tick is, either would have happened eventually or wouldn't have if the nitrous was used properly.

A quick run down of a couple things for nitrous use.

1. don't spray under 3K RPMS
2. don't bump the either the rev or the speed limiter, ever when spraying
3. make sure you have proper fuel pressure, tho with a car with only 16K on it, i can't see that as the problem
4. don't spray at idle
5. be careful not to miss shift, if its a stick

that was just a couple things off the top of my head...

good luck with the warrantee work, shouldn't be a problem, definately disconnect and rip out the entire nitrous system, and take out the VSS switch, if you have one.

It was probably going to happen to the car anyways, or it happend when i took it to get dynoed, but thank you man for the advice, I ran the nitrous just fine I dunno I have bad luck we'll just leave it at that lol. I hope things work out for the best but who knows if it gets fixed i'm just going to invest in the GM supercharger, thank you again.

well guys i've actually narrowed this down to an exhaust leak, i'm going to go get it checked out tomorrow. Thank you for all the help...if it is the exhaust leak the nitrous is staying on. the car ran just fine with the nitrous I think I just over reacted maybe a bit, who knows. But thank you all. Soon though a supercharger will be bought for this car hopefully sooner than later.
