Any quick fix weatherstripping?

I have an old 91 cavalier rs convertible. When it rains the drivers side windows have one small leak each. Obviously its the weatherstripping, but is there a quick fix remedy without reapplying new weatherstripping to the whole window?

The short answer is: No, there is no "quick fix".

It's hard to give a definitive answer without actually seeing the car, but you may be able to make some adjustments to close small gaps.

If that's not something you're comfortable with, or are unsure what to adjust or where, a friendly body shop should be able to assist you at a very minimal cost.

Ultimately, though, you'll want to replace the weatherstripping. Once they get deformed and leaks begin, it typically only gets worse over time.

Good Luck.

Take a dollar bill , shut your door , place the bill in between the door and the frame , move it along slowly and where it easy to pull mark it with tape , one your done open the door and all spots that have tape lift the weatherstripping and place a small piece of rubber rolled up between the stripping.
