I have a 95 cav. 2.2 just replaced the head gasket and had the head machined flushed out the oil and cooling system, when I let it idle for awhile to check for any leaks I saw some anti-freeze comming out the reservoir fill cap and the seep hole in the muffler can't figure out what could cause this unless I did'nt bleed all of the air out of the cooling system? it runs and idles fine and did'nt even run hot enough for the cooling fan to kick on yet. Just trying to work out the last few mechanicle bugs before I finish the body and start painting it, the color is another story. Thanks
Well tim: What kind of condition is rad in old or New? Is youre thermosat new? How about youre head gasket and cyl head was it torqued in the right spec's?. My 2 guesses wouls be youre cyl head has a hair line crack, In which cause youre coolant to spill out on the resivior canister, #2 youre rad could have blockage in which causes coolant not to flow.
Good Luck keep us updated.
I replaced the thermostat along with new hoses, the radiator is not new it is the original one to the best of my knowlege and also I torqued the head down to specs
Got home this morning pulled the plugs they still look good, let it run with the a/c on for around 15-20min. the water temp. got to the half mark the fan never kicked on but when I checked it with a jumper wire it does work, did'nt get anymore antifreeze out of the exhaust but I did notice the top hose felt hot but it did'nt feel like much was flowing threw it pulled the dipstick and there was some coolent in it, can't figure out what direction to look at next any ideas???
have you done an oil & filter after youre hd gasket was changed? I still think youre rad has to do with youre troubles. Are you getting any overheating?.
Drained all of the old oil out of the motor and replaced was going to flush and change the filter afterwards, do you think if I try flushing out the radiator by taking both hoses off and spraying water threw it would help ? the car was'nt running hot it was at the half mark, if it is the rad. that would solve alot of headaches.

if coolant 100x pressurized more "spraying water" cant unclog ur rad i highly doubt spraying it will do any good at all. Buy a can of coolant flush follow the instructions if worst comes to worst by a new rad. there just under 100 shipped you may want to get a new res. cap at the same time
