i took my intake manifold and valve cover off and i painted it all...now i put it back all together and it idles rough....checked plugs...and wires and all my connections....still can't figure it out. but u rev it up and its smooth...what could this be...can any1 help me?

friends dont let friends roll stock
would a intake manifold leak do that...wouldn't u hear it whisler tho when u rev it???because i know my friends G6 has a leaking intake manifold and it whistles when it revs up...but mine only idles rough shen it does...but revs up smooth...

Sounds like an egr valve symtom. Carbon deposits lodging valve open. But cant be related to removing the intake. Are you sure that you have all the vacuum lines on correctly? Check the vac lines and take off the egr valve and see if you can blow through it.

is there a sensor or something on the throttle body of the 95 2.2's that feed 2 lines to the evap system???cuz i have 2 lines that are broken but can't find any lose vacume lines anywheres...if i had a digi cam i'd take a pic but i don't...theres a plug in for it with the map sensor and the otehr one....any1 know what this part is???think it could be the problem

is it a wire or a hose that is "broken" def fix the obviously before you try to do anything else, find a pic of a 2.2 engine and use paint to show us what is broken
this is the sensor...i don't have mine located there...but would like to know where its suppose to go and what it connects to and if it would cause that
